Citroen's Mikko Hirvonen has extended his overnight lead on Rally de Portugal and following the morning loop he now heads back to service with a 47.3 second advantage over Mads Ostberg.

Things are looking not so fatal for Ford for now. Solberg could catch 4th, JML 6th if they continue at this pace and survive. It is especially crucial for JML to finish this Rally to boost his confidence little bit.

JML said that today he isn't driving at full speed but why? When Petter is pushing for 4th why not and Latvala try to get the best possible result. Maybe his confidence is shattered.
