Latvala hopes of challenging Loeb for this year tittle are over, again. Now he will have to support Solberg and probably will set some very impressive times but that is going to be pointless. He need to set the times when it's needed not when he isn't under pressure. Finding a way to cope with the pressure must be his primary objective for next year.
And maybe Malcom Wilson shouldn't stress that Latvala is #1 driver so much in the future.

Poor Jari-Matti will be wondering if he has broken a mirror somewhere at some point, He is such a likable guy and is clearly the fastest driver in the WRC

Its such a shame that he is having a bad year, I think he needs to come back with a bang and win a few Rallies in a row, maybe the break will do him good but i suspect he is gutted not to be in Argentina

I would Imagine that after the result in Portugal Malcolm will want to give the seat to Mads as he is usually there or there abouts and doesnt crash often, maybe he will have a clean run in an official car, as they say, Watch this space !

What does he mean saying he is hard to replace? Surely with a legend such as Matthew Wilson in another none works ford he sold be promoted to the works team!

Or he could take the sensible option, dump Latvala and sign Meake who seems to be kicking his heals again at mini.

Rumour has it, he could go to VW in 2013. It's a real shame for him though, and Ford. Ostberg or Tanak must be the favourites to replace him in Argentina, although maybe Kris Meeke will get the call up?

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Jari.

As much as I think Jari Matti should be the teams number 1 driver - I also think Ford need to take stock of the situation and try and take from this what is on the table for them

Given that Petter is trailing Loeb by just 4 points, they need to try and support Petters chances of winning the title as Jari Matti will be too far behind by the time he returns in Greece

Petter should take any potential wins where Jari Matti is leading but only if Petter is 2nd at that time. They need Titles to keep thier Funding in place or Ford could pull out of the WRC

For Malcom Wilsin :

This is your chance to sign Ogier or Sordo , other than these tow guys you will be in truble in terms of points after Argentina .

Here is a Thought !

Due to contractual Red Tape with Mads, Malcolm could decide to give the redundant Henning Solberg the drive creating instant history by making it the 1st time that the Solberg Brothers have both competed in the same Works Team together as Factory drivers

The P.R. would be good for Ford too, and maybe with a 3 day test Henning may be back to his old form if he is confident after an extended test with brother Petter, its doubtful but possible
