BMWs decision to run Both A.Araujo and P.Nobre was based on the fact that both drivers had bigger sponsors with them and could deliver the same kind of results as Kris under the same conditions.

@Dave Willcock

Nobre can deliver the same kind of results like Kris????
He is the most antitalented driver out there. Under none conditions he could even get near Matthew Wilson and Meeke is light years away from him. That kind of drivers, with money and results worse than group N car, are ruining the reputation of the sport.

It's all about money, isn't it? BMW doesn't care for their reputation with Mini in Rallying. They have chosen the richer team, no matter of results.

I guess Mini will become one of the teams which just fills the number of WRC cars in some rallies.

Obviusly Prodrive are relying on second pilot with more money also, otherwise they might be charging Meeke, I don't know how much more benefit will bring this though in terms of results, last year he mostly crashed out, needs some more experiense and Prodrive seems not willing to pay for it.

Matt Wilson has been in the WRC for what, four or more seasons and has done nothin'.
The lack of results speak for themselves.
And meanwhile Kris Meeke has no drive.
Get real...

Someone always says something about Matthew Wilson on here. But sure he hasn't competed since January, so the whole 'he's-taking-a-seat' arguments are invalid.
