Sebastien Loeb: It's a great victory for the team after what happened in Portugal, when we scored zero points. It was important to react...

If I were Loeb and had shown such utter dominance, and proven time and again that I am the best, then id be looking for a new challenge.
Loeb should look to prove himself by driving for another team, switch to Ford and try to prove that its not the car.

No if I were Loeb I would go for ten in a row sure why not as it will never be beaten again.
The only thing is in my opinion he is scarring the record books and making legends look poor. After all he was in the best car always with almost perfect reliability. Couple that with a team mate that has to move aside when necessary and voila. He could have been beaten by Ford if they made a clear number 1 driver in the team and made the number 2 move over when necessary. His dominance is not great for the sport but I do appreciate his amazing talent etc etc etc etc

@slightlysideways
Latvala is number 1 driver, but Solberg was never is position to step aside because of Latvalas to many offs. And for the rest of the season maybe it will be better Solberg to be #1 driver.

I don't think there will be anything wrong. But interestingly FIA anounced that Hirvonen turbo appeared also illegal in Portugal during Argentina?!? I'm puzzled.

stefanvv. apparently all teams, ex citroen use their officially supplied turbo for one rally only, but citroen use theirs for several rallies. it appears that after one rally, the turbine wheel has fractionally changed size due to 'plastic' expansion caused by heat. so citroen were using a turbo that had grown slightly. it may hae been inadvertant, or maybe citroen had realised there was a slight change, who knows? but citroen had not modified anything and had assumed that there would be no problem. i would imagine that on scrutiny papers, it was noticed that the same serial number appeared, so that if it was 'illegal' on one rally, it must have been classed as 'illegal' before??
