WRC » Petter Solberg: I had to try...

Petter Solberg: I hit the bank on the right of the road and then the car bounced into the bank on the opposite side. The impact knocked the left rear wheel off and that was it.

With a gap of only 10.2 seconds and without a win for 6 or 7 years Solberg was right to go for it, im tired of seeing drivers with that sort of gap just sit back and settle for second best just unfortunate he clip the bank. But keep pushing Petter you will get a victory very soon and the championship is far from over.

Im sorry but i have to admit, I would rather see the Ford Boys pushing and taking Risks like they did, its not Good for their Manufacturer situation, but if the didnt push they would never gain anything, it could of easily of been a 1st and 2nd for Ford, it was not meant to be but they both did the right thing to push hard for a win, at least they both had a real go and the suspension seemed fine this time

I've always felt that the manufacturers championship hurts the sport. Every driver should be pushing for wins and never settling for anything but first place.
