@ RFury
Let say that you are very good at your works but everybody else cannot do their job properly. So the question is, are your company fire you or the one that don't do the job ?

Everyone knows what happened in San Remo 2001 the first appearance of Loeb in a WRC event
Burns Mc Rae Auriol Makkinen Sainz Travaglia Delecour Jean-Joseph Gronholm Solberg Sohlberg Puras Bugalski Liatti Martin

Not bad for a rookie
They were behind him
Eventually he sent them into retirement

The problem is Loeb has nothing to prove and knows that his approach to winning Rallies works, he is supremely confident and arrives at Rallies knowing that there is a 95 percent chance he will win

He has so much experience at winning, where as the other just have experience. It will be very difficult for drivers to fluster this man, I also think he will go for 10 titles, maybe with the return of Ogier next year Loeb will struggle with that goal, but clearly this is his goal

The sport is been badly run by the FIA (again), back when rallying was arguably bigger than F1 the FIA made sure that wouldn't happen again.

Look at the shambles of no promoter
Strong arming the rally organisers into paying more
Pointless rule changes over the last decade
Making events too short and too TV friendly
Lack of manufacturers
Lack of top drivers
Too many pay drivers

It's unfortunate coincidence that only one guy seems able to win the championship, not his fault.

There might be more manufacturers coming back but the FIA need to get a promoter, make the sport cheaper and bring it back to the fans and stop screwing the host nations.

rant over.

I am fed up with the 'oh just retire Loeb and give us back Rallying'

The only thing that would mean is that the quality of driver that becomes World Champion is made worse.

I don't see how removing Loeb and therefore dropping the quality of driver makes a better series.

How about we remove Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel from Formula 1 and we can be really impressed - a season where people like Maldonado and Karthikeyan fight for the title must be amazing as it is the F1 equivalent of what you're asking for in WRC.

WRC wasn't ruined by Loeb, it was ruined by the Manufacturers leaving.

Mitsubishi vs. Subaru Vs. Ford Vs. Citroen Vs. Peugeot Vs. Hyundai

All we have now is Citroen Vs. Ford.

Blame the FIA, it wasn't that attractive to manufacturers, the exposure they were getting wasn't great, too easy to blame the manufacturers.....they'll come and go anyway.
