2 stage wins by Latvala surely give hope about his tarmac performances. But Latvala himself admitted that he was taking much bigger risks than he is prepared to take so a real challenge for the win is unrealistic.

on the thread about the shakedown, a poster DNK, said that seb would be leading by 20 secs at the end of day one. he was way, way out! shock!!! seb is leading by 20.4 secs!

This rally is least surprise. This is his rally after all, he must win it. Latvalla is fast on tarmac, he already showed it last year, but to challenge Loeb here would be insane probably. Better for Fords is to keep 2nd and 3rd.
