Mikko Hirvonen: I would really love it if we can secure the World title for Citroen in Great Britain. It would take some of the pressure off me for the final few rallies

His opposition, Latvala and Solberg, is prone to mistakes so not necessarily it's everything about the speed to get a win. However win on tarmac is maybe still a distant prospect for him.

Well interestingly you are all correct in your comments above, he does need more speed to win, Latvala and Solberg are trying very hard to win, also, Loeb does have things sewn up this year and what makes Hirvonen a 1st Class 2nd driver also prevents him from taking any wins

Last year he was driving for wins as a 1st Driver in the Ford Team and now he is a 2nd driver to Loeb and so there is a slightly different approach and plan, the team expects him finish behind Loeb and collect valuable points and for Loeb to push for the wins, although in his mind he also wants to win. He has done a Solid job in all fairness, But I do think its time that one of the Fords took a win though, and this weekend would be the perfect Rally to claim one

This would also be good for Solberg in particular to win as his last win came on this event in 2005 when poor old Beef passed away and Loeb avoided winning the event, so it would be Good for Petter to win a Rally on outright speed and move on from that Aw
