Loeb has absolutely nothing to prove.

The best car? he helped developed it for crying out loud.

Non challenging team mates? What a load of rubbish, Miko has had a number of close chances to take wins this year (he has had a great first season with Citroen), The team has let them fight. But at the end of the day it has been Loeb who has had the lead and gained the upper hand before team orders have come in if they did.

Loeb is pure class. A great sportsman all round.

Hope he stays on for another year. Although in saying that if he does move behind the scenes would love to see Neuville promoted into his seat.

@Kasser: "Non challenging team mates? What a load of rubbish"

Let me disagree with that. He might be the greatest driver ever, but for sure last two years were walk in the park for him when there were team orders... And there were plenty of them.

Last year with Ogier was walk in the park??? Citroen applied team orders on the last days of the rallies when there is less than quarter of the rally remaining(in terms of km) and the gaps are over than minute. Loeb's teammates had the other 3/4 to take the lead.
How many times Hirvonen was gifted a position? And that's switching positions not holding on to them, which is worse.

Ogier beat him! that is correct and the guy is gifted
But it was quite often while Loeb was sweeping the road thanks to the FIA for
changing the rules to try to beat him
No challengers ? You mean Sainz or Mc Rae with an identical cars were no challengers ?
Gronholm or Solberg were no challengers?
Come on guys ...
This man is gifted, has talent, and he also has a brain.

Love to see him in F1, some stories floating around that Mclaren may soon have an opening for a driver..
Great to see one of the best of all time on dirt, take a crack at the guys on tarmac, given his comparison to Rai on tarmac in WRC, i think it would be a pretty interesting exercise.

Nothing more to prove where he is...
