WRC » Latvala: This victory is for the team

Jari-Matti Latvala: It's a fantastic feeling. It's one of my favourite rallies and it's the first time I have won the same rally in consecutive years.

Araujo's Mini wasn't "upgraded" for Germany. It was the car Sordo had previously driven, and the 1st time the portuguese driver was given the chance to drive the 01B upgrade. No testing whatsoever, by the way, which Atko had plenty for GB. And no chance in hell Meeke would have been better in the same car. You just can't compare oranges and apples. The new Prodrive car was built specifically for tarmac. It's a lighter version, with much better weight distribution and grip. Prodrive is struggling for sponsors, but not parts, like Motorsport Italia.
Anyway, Latvala, you rule!

No. Dragging an ill-conceived car that is basically falling a part (also) does. Oh, and, look, Atko was 9.37" off the pace. Plus, no one's attacking you, so chill and check your spelling. Over and out.

Still think it sucks the way BMW have dealt with this, drivers aside.

Say what you want about Ford but losing them would be a disaster for WRC... a bitlike Ferrari leaving F1.
