Pleased for Ford and the WRC - in a 2 car championship it probably needed the factory Fiestas to win more than once.

However, Malcolm shouldn't get carried away. 3 rounds out, the business end of the championship, and neither of his drivers have even a mathemactical shout at the big cup. Indeed, his number 1 driver, JML is still a point down on privateer Mads Ostberg despite Mads not having the funding to do a full campaign.

As for Hapless, the joke continues, 9 rally GB starts and he finsihes behind newcomer Neuville on his first.

Great performance by Petter on WRGB, shame to be just pipped by Loeb at the end but I think everyone at Ford can be happy with that display. Anything could happen in France although Sardinia is probably the best bet for the next Ford win - time for another Solberg victory!

"That was more important than destroying a rally by risking everything to take second. In the afternoon, out from service, I was ready, but not to take the big risk. You know, I did it in Greece and it was not good fun to meet Malcolm after. I don't enjoy that."

This is what Petter said in another interview. Maybe he is under huge pressure as number 2 driver and he cannot afford any mistakes. Pitty.
