Well i have to admit I didnt expect this, I know Mini has been at odds with Prodrive, Mini Team Portugal was frankly only going to give mini Negative press with the kind of Lacklustre results that they have been providing, but I didnt expect a complete withdrawal.

I dont know what Prodrive have planned for 2013 but they will need to do some serious catching up in Development if they want to compete at the sharp end of the Championship, maybe they are 85% there with Funding and driver agreements, something must be in the pipeline if this doesnt phase them and they can still remain Bullish about 2013

I don't get whats in it from prodrive without manufacturer backing? unless they just want to go rallying but it's a business. Who wants to sponsor a brand that's turned it's back on the sport. Another BMW messy exit from a motorsport series.

Don't get me wrong, the more cars the better but I can't see the commercial sense behind it.

BMW are a joke when it comes to Motorsport. they need to make up there minds when they enter a championship and stick to it. other wise what's the point?

They wreck the minis image by making it bigger when the "New mini first came out back in 2001, then they wreck the come back and make Mini look like a the laughing stock.
