Anyone else hoping Prodrive if they enter a full season pull off what Brawn GP did after Honda pulled the plug and wipe the floor in 2013.
Can't see it happening but if anyone can Mr Richards is the man for the job

No surprise and goes to show we can take nothing for granted in this day and age.

That much said, it shows the total disregard of the majors, BMW, Honda, Suburu, Toyota, etc. They have the power- they only want in when it suits themselves, when they want out they are out faster than a rat with a gold tooth.

I think Lamborghini had more of a works team in WRC this year such has been the pointless BMW occasionally letting a Mini run a WRC event, it's also tarnished the name even more.
(Don't worry I know Lamborghini don't rally but imagine the sight and sound on a tarmac rally)

Surely the only thing akin to the Issagonnis mini on the present car is the badge. Likewise the F-1 car is no more a Chapman Lotus. I love the newest 'Mini' promo for the 'Clubman' "Minis largest vehicle"....Huh? Years ago I rallied a Corvair and asked a true mini driver how he got his car over the boulders in the dried creek we had to navigate. His answer. "Step on it and aim the wheels over the high ones"

There is a Porsche Oreca running in the French rally championship. It's a handful to drive but the pilots find it fun.

Renault had a good result with one of their Meganes in an IRC rally, that would be nice having them in a WRC effort even if it's unlikely due to the involvement in F1.

Hopefully, with the upcoming return of Toyota we might see some Subarus or Mitsus of some sort. And maybe Prodrive would like to be involved in an (Chinese owned) MG project one day.

All of that is wishful thinking of course.
