Looks like JML is in confident mood. Unlike some of the guys in F1 who jump ship, I think JML genuinely wants to do well for ford. No one can blame him for going to VW. A full factory team and in time, it is probably his best chance at a world title. Go JML and give Ford a real good swansong!!! on another note, i understand that guys can buy a seat in WRC and F1 butat least in F1 they can drive and have to have a superlicence or something. In WRC, as far as I know, an International licence is enough and anyone can get one fairly easily. But this should change, the likes of Nobre can just turn up, pay his money and compete alongside proper drivers. then he justs crashes all of the time. What a waste of money. Why cant he invest in good young driver if he is so interested in rallying and go off and become the president of whatever football club he supports.

I think all the pressure is off Jari Matti now and we could well see him take wins in both Sardinia and possibly Spain too, imagine if he wins here in Sardinia, his confidence will be burtsing by the time he gets to Spain, and this is when he drives the best

He was very close to Loeb in France and that was a Rally that Loeb was always going to win at all costs as it was the special Rally that he will always remember as the Rally where he clinched his last ever WRC drivers title, he doesnt have to win in Spain and so I dont think he will have the same motivation

It would be Good for both Jari Matti and Ford to finally beat Loeb on an Asphalt event, it is a very big ask, but i think he can finally do it. Lets first of all wait and see if he wins in Sardinia though as this will ultimately give him the momentum to win in Spain
