Hey man, if you want to return to track action, go to F1. Not WTCC - its a "nobody cares" series. F1 drivers like Kimi and Kubica have come to F1 and suffered while you did well at your F1 test. May be Citroen cant launch a F1 team in 2014 but there are others and there are seats up for grabs in 2014 including Ferrari. Comeone, have a spin in F1 for 2-3 years with a leading team.

"May be Citroen cant launch a F1 team in 2014"

No they can't. Period.

Given the current state of the PSA group...The only thing Peugeot does at the moment for instance is the 308RC cup and the new 208 S2000. Can't see them putting together a full F1 team when they even sold some of their 908s...IMO, they should build an F1 engine (lot of exposure if it's not too shabby) but that's just me.

More manufacturers seem to want to in WTCC. I agree that right now it's far from heaven but it's indeed a championship that has a lot of potential yet certain things like the format may need to be tweaked.

Like richard said, Loeb is launching his endurance team so that wouldn't be a big surprise to see him race there also.

There is no reason for him to stick with Citroen now. I really some F1 teams might get interested for 2014 if he starts negotiations. His credentials are second to none - 9 WC in a sport tougher than any motorsport including F1 (acknowledged by MS), decent testing at F1 (not too far off lap record) and quashing of the F1 stars at ROC more than once.

I'm pretty sure that if there were a French team a la Ligier, they would have given him a shot but alas it isn't the case.

There would be STR but it's far from what team policy stands for. For it to happen it might a driver in a decent team to completely flop and leave his seat for the rest of the season.

I'd like to see that but let's face it, it isn't likely, we're not in the 90's anymore.
