Im thinking that the reason Petter has shunned both Citroen and M-Sports offer of a payed seat is because he has been in talks with Hyundia about signing with the Korean firms new Squad to both Develop and lead the team in 2014 for a Handsome fee

If you think about it there are not really many drivers with the speed and skill of Solberg who are available either in 2013 or 2014. Obviously Petter is available right away for Testing and Development this year, Perhaps Sordo in 2014, this would allow any Top Driver to name their price, all the chips are seemingly falling into place

That is of course assuming that Mini do not soak up any Remaining Drivers with a last minute announcement of a Major Sponsor

@ Dafydd. This is not the first time I have seen your posts say something about prodrive and the mini project finding a major sponser. Is this just wishful thinking or have you some insider info!!! From looking at it from the outside, I think that mini ship has sailed. Realistically, how much more development work are prodrive going to put into it? Even with Jarko Nikaro, (who is a class act) I can see the mini slipping further back in the results. The same is going to happen to ford unfortunately. I wonder are M-sport and prodrive talking to other possible manufacturers?
