He needs to be more positive, Mikko has a very Good chance to win the Title and he is very consistant, This also applies to Mads, he needs to add determination and a little more speed to his consistancy to be a Genuine Title contender

Mads will certainly not win the Title if he thinks he can afford to see how it goes, He needs to have a Plan, after all - those who fail to plan only plan to fail

Winning the World Title is hard enough without thinking it will just land in your Lap

I would have nominated Neuville and Hanninen for points for the Qatar m-sport team with their monte experience over Ostberg and Novikov but maybe Malcolm is going for a safe points haul. At least its a proper monte with snow and three proper manufacturers and loads of talented young drivers cant wait for it to start!

Actually I think mads is dead right. I'm sure he has a plan but he is clever enough not be blowing his own trumpet. Too many drivers in the past have talked themselves up and have failed to live up to the hype. A certain other Norwegian comes to mind!!

Malcolm had to name one driver for the whole season as first driver because of FIA regulations.
So if he names Hanninen and Neuville to score point in MonteCarlo ,he can't use Ostberg or Novikov anymore as first driver.

@ joepike ah fair enough, I'd forgotten that! On another note I respect Loeb for all that he has achieved but I can't help but think he is only doing a part season because he is scared that Ogier could be a real title threat and that is dissapointing as I was really looking forward to them battling it out after how close they were in 2011. What do you guys think?

Loeb don't think that Ogier is his threat as Ogier himself and the others at VW have stated that winning rallies isn't theirs priority especially in the first half of the season instead they will focus on further development of the car. It's shame that Loeb isn't doing the full season but that's his decision and must be respected.
With a lot of snow on the stages maybe Ostberg will have better chances for a good result.

VW, ogier and Latvala will be out to win from the very start I'm sure, I dont believe everything I hear in the news, they're only saying in the press that winning in the first half of the year isnt their priority to cover themselves and so they dont look bad if the car isnt quick straight out of the box.
