WRC » Loeb maintains Rallye Monte Carlo cushion

Sebastien Loeb remains in control on Rallye Monte Carlo and returns to service with a 1 minute 17.9 second lead over Sebastien Ogier; Dani Sordo and Evgeny Novikov have moved up to third and fourth, with Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala dropping to fifth and sixth...

Why am I not surprised to see the legend that is loeb dominating?
Also, why am I not surprised to see Ogier running 2nd? VW have come into this EXTREMELY well prepared, and remember Ogier's drive in Monte Carlo last year in the Fabia (before he shunted, big time...)!

Novikov in 4th? Very well done to him! :)

Mikko is not a proper motorsport driver, given his total lack of good excuses, such as "there was a canyon-sized rock in the middle of the road that I coudldn't see", and "my team told me to use butter for tires", etc.

Yeh I agree with both of the above

Obviously if you Take Loeb out of the equation then Ogier is infront, now it is a little more obvious how the Polo is, I think maybe Ogier can fight to become this years Drivers Champion

im Not so sure about Mikkos prediction about Jari Matti being his Tio to become Champion, I think Ogier could have the edge being more consistant overall

Well Done to Novkov, I think he cant get at least 3rd here, he probably has easily the Best Gravel note crew, this will be a Major factor in his performance

Well, this looks like the curse of Loeb will be hanging over the WRC for some time.
Any victory without him competing will lack some shine and a victory with him around looks pretty unlikely again.
