Well maybe this is why Mikko is not doing so well. Every Rally needs to be Life or Death, As the Number 1 Driver for Citroen he will not get away with this relaxed no pressure attitude for much Longer, A Driver in his position needs to be trying to win every Rally like his predesessor Mr Loeb, he could learn a thing or two from Loebs approach and determination

This is dissapointing to hear from Hirvonnen

Fully agree Dafydd. If he carries on with this attitude, the championship will be over for him before too much longer. He needs to come back in Mexico with a bang, show the VW/Ford guys he is there and a match if not more for them.

When is his Citroen contract finishing? On current form I wouldn't rush to re-sign him?

The problem you have is that there are very few drivers who can jump into a seat with a Top team like Citroen and potentially win a Rally, Ford have all the Youngsters sewn up, VW have all he Big Guns sewn up and Mini are experimenting with a Finn behind the scenes, oh and Skoda have signed the next star to drive in WRC2, so Mikko is still quite high on Teams lists, Now Loeb is retiring any one of 5 or 6 drivers could win any Rally

Maybe this is why Mikko doesnt feel any pressure, i think he has stepped over the line though and is a little too relaxed, lets hope he smells the coffee and finds his old form for Mexico, maybe Citroen should start experimenting with Meeke, maybe he could get a podium in a works DS3 with some testing and match practice, I really think he could do well
