That was an incredible display of determination and skill. You could see how impatient he was early (he hit 342 km/h in straight on the 2nd Lap!) and to see
podium slipping away would've been hard but once he got the hammer down there was no stopping him,Bradl and Crutchlow cracked under pressure coz of his pace which was enough to compete with Lorenzo.

Hats off to Marquez too, a rookie with no half measures.
Them two are going to provide fireworks this season, roll on COTA!

Amazing race!!
So happy to see him back!

MotoGP badly needs guys like Rossi (and MM) at the front!
This sport and us fans stand to gain sooo much with a competitive Vale.

I will say that Rossi has proved me wrong. He still is as great as he was before Ducati. What a race today I can't wait for Texas now bring on the rest of the 2013 season!

Austin will be a bad track for Yamaha and, judging by the tests, an even worse one for Vale.

For a good championship position, he will need to defend himself there.

In the meanwhile, let's enjoy the fact that Vale is still the good old blood thirsty racer and he can still be competitive.

5 seconds back....?? It's not like he was even that close- Lorenzo was doing parade laps. He's also lucky that Marquez did not pass him up and take second- I think that the kid was being a lil to cautious- but that won't last for long :) That kid will soon be the new King.... just has to catch Lorenzo.
