Mads Ostberg will be looking to extend Citroen's record of success in Germany as he attempts to end a run of WRC events without troubling the scorers.

As I said at the start of the season I fully expect Kris to be out performing Mads by the second half of the season. I really cant see Mads winning in Germany and while it would be Fantastic to see Kris take his first win next weekend I don't think it is likely given how determined VW are to in at home.

Lets be honest the only reason that Citroen have an unbeaten record here that dates all the way back to 2001 is mostly down to one person who dominated even more on the black stuff than he did on the dirt.

Given the determination of their rivals I would suggest that a single podium would be a great Result for Citroen and it would be wise of them not to over promise on their expectation or they will have yet more uncomfortable explaining to do to H.Q on Monday
