Latvala has worked very hard over the last few seasons to better understand the skills required to compete on this surface for the Win. In saying that, I still do not expect him to take the Victory, but I would be very happy to see him win and further reduce the points gap to Ogier.

I think there will be quite a few of drivers who right now feel that the victory could be theirs for the taking. Ogier, Meeke and Sordo to name but a few. Don't forget that while Meeke is very quick on Gravel, like Ogier and Neuville, he learned his trade on the Black stuff. 3 Years is not much of an issue if he does a Good Recce and also Citroen wont be relaxed about it, they will be very motivated for a Win, especially as Citroen have won this Rally for the last 12 years straight and wont want that record to be broken
