Ford Fiesta R5 men Yuriy Protasov and Pavlo Cherepin reflect after taking their second WRC2 victory of the season on Rally Mexico...

Q:
This is your second consecutive win in WRC2 this season. Yuriy, how good does that feel?

Yuriy Protasov:
It feels okay, more better than Monte Carlo. It was a little bit more easy than Monte. I don't have the pressure like Monte Carlo.

Q:
You had a massive lead today, maybe even time for a cup of coffee on the stage!

Yuriy Protasov:
Yes, but on the first stage after a jump we broke the front drive shaft and then we drive with rear-wheel drive. It was difficult to drive not to break it more. It was not easy.

Q:
How do you feel about the win Pavlo?

Pavlo Cherepin:
This is the first rally in Mexico for me and the second one for Yuriy. It was a great challenge and very interesting. I look forward to coming back here next year.

Q:
There was not much pressure with the big gap. What does it feel like to drive in this situation?

Pavlo Cherepin:
It was not about the pressure from the sport, but from the mental aspect. We needed to drive the car safely to the finish and I needed to read the pace notes and make sure that we were prepared. We had some notes from previous years and we were able to see the videos, so it as not too bad. The toughest part of the event was having to leave our country behind with the problems that are occurring there at the moment and concentrate on the rally in this situation when we were thinking about the people of Ukraine.

Q:
What do you feel about Portugal, where there will be more competition in WRC 2?

Yuriy Protasov:
We just look forward to the next rally. For me, it is more interesting when there are more people to fight with.
