Yeah I think you're right. He's not as good as Loeb, Solberg and Ogier (and Latvala I think) but...

I still think he's better than Meeke though. When they were team-mates in 2005, Sordo scored 4 wins and was faster than Meeke on tarmac and not far off him on gravel either.

Despite being 22 at the time and in only his first JWRC season (Meeke was in his 3rd), it was he who coupled with his pace, didn't put a scratch on the car all year. Sordo scored 53pts, Meeke only something like 31pts!

Meeke in his 3rd season wasn't much quicker on gravel and was slower on tarmac. Also, he was the one doing all the crashing while Sordo was faultless all the way - in season 1!

But having said that, it could be like the Villeneuve Frentzen Hill triangle in F1. Or the Barrichello/Irvine 1995 thing, so it could be different this time round.
