The asia pacific championship allows cars to re-enter on the following day but they canonly get points for the maximum number of stage wins. The Australian championship decided to hold the rally with a heat system. Each day is a seperate rally and points allocated according to how you finish on that day. The overall rally winner is the person with the most accumulated points. Advantage is all cars can re-enter which is good for spectators, sponsors and the crews. Also drivers are constantly on maximum attack as so many points are available. Bad is that it favours the really fast drivers so in the WRC would make even less drivers who could win.
