SS9 - Ibarrilla 1 (29.90 km): Loeb fastest through SS9; Hirvonen second; Atkinson third; Sordo fourth; Petter Solberg fifth; Latvala sixth - complained that it was very slippery running first on the road; Villagra had power-steering problems; Henning Solberg had brake issues; Sordo, Rautenbach and Prokop re-started under the SupeRally; Galli, Gardemeister and Andersson were unable to rejoin the fold; Ogier heads the JWRC category; Latvala leads the overall event by just 0.1 seconds.
