Rally New Zealand: SS1 – Latvala opens up top.

SS1 Pirongia (24.22km):

Latvala fastest through SS1; Hirvonen second; Loeb third despite almost coming off the road in the latter part of the stage; Sordo fourth; Atkinson fifth; Henning Solberg loses more than three minutes with mechanical problems; Nutahara heads the PWRC category as championship leader Aigner picks up two punctures.
