Passenger rides available at Burns Memorial Rally.

Rally fans are being urged to grab the chance to support the Richard Burns Foundation and enjoy the experience of a lifetime at the Burns Memorial Rally this coming weekend.

"There are three passenger rides alongside Markko Martin in the latest Subaru Impreza WRC2008 available to be won at auction as part of the charity event," confirmed a statement to the media.

"The once-in-a-lifetime experiences will take place on the morning of Saturday September 13 in the same car that Martin and co-driver Robert Reid will use to tackle the tarmac stages.

"The reserve price for the rally rides is £1500 and those interested in taking part should submit their bids - along with their name, address and contact phone number - to: info@richardburnsfoundation.com.

"The closing date for bids will be Thursday September 11 at 12.00pm."

The single-venue tarmac event on RAF Marham airfield is being organised by the Kings Lynn & District Motor Club (KLDMC) to raise money for the Richard Burns Foundation and RAF Benevolent Fund.

The inspiration for the event was provided by Richard Burns' visit to RAF Marham in 2000 when he was taken for a flight in a Tornado fighter jet.

Although there are only a few starting places remaining for competitors, spectator tickets priced at just £10 can still be bought.
