Colin McRae`s Radical SR3 - FOR SALE.

The Radical SR3 owned by the late Colin McRae has gone up for sale for £75,000.

McRae, who won the World Rally drivers' title in 1995 and who was tragically killed in a helicopter accident on September 15 last year, bought the Radical SR3 direct from the British Sports Car manufacturer back in 2006.

Although more than 300 Radical SR3s have been built, this is a rare road-legal car which can be driven on public roads as well as be raced or used on track days.

The car has been fitted with an optional 'high-downforce' package and has very low mileage.

I wish I could afford this car. My 10 year old son sat in one and wanted me to buy it. The fact that this car was owned by Colin McRae will be the reason why the price of the car has doubled, I wouldn't be suprised if this car ended up being worth a small fortune. Colin McRae is a legend with a massive fan base. My own personal view is that cars with such an historical significance should be kept in motor museums for all fans to enjoy. :D

Surely if it was on autotrader a few months back it was previously owned by Colin Mcrae then too? If it is the same car, then doubling it's price and advertising it on a site such as this seems a bit dodgy to me.
