Sordo out.

Citroen number two driver Dani Sordo has retired from the Rallye de France-Tour de Corse following an accident near the start of SS3.

Although details are currently sketchy the Spaniard apparently hit a bank and was unable to complete the 27.42 kilometre-run through Arbellara-Aullene 1.

It is not yet known if he will re-start on Saturday under the SupeRally format. Sordo had been running second overall post-SS2.

More to follow later...
