Petter Solberg will hope to bounce back from a virus to repeat his heroics of Cyprus as the World Rally Championship heads to Portugal this weekend for the fourth round of the year.

The Norwegian took his Petter Solberg World Rally Team Citroen Xsara to a fine third place in Cyprus after battling ahead of the works Citroen C4 of Dani Sordo on the final morning, rolling back the years in only his second outing in the car.

Solberg had been due to return home after Cyprus to fulfil sponsor commitments before falling ill with a virus, but said he was now fully prepared for the weekend and keen to build on his Cypriot podium.

"I had a lot of things scheduled for that week [after Cyprus]," Hollywood said, "with interviews, TV-shows and an event together with my main sponsor Johs Lunde. I had to cancel them all and stay in bed. Feeling a lot better now, and I hope to stay well for some time!

"Rally Portugal is a tough rally and it will be exciting to see how fast we can go here. We were fast in Cyprus, and with even more time with the car I hope we can set some good splits."
