Sebastien Loeb admits his only aim for the 2010 World Rally Championship season is to secure a seventh successive title, although the Citroen man concedes that it will be a far from easy task.
The Frenchman successfully fought off the challenge of Mikko Hirvonen to secure the title for a sixth time last season, taking victory in the season ending Rally GB to beat his Ford rival to the crown by a single point.
With Hirvonen expected to be strong again this season and vowing to dethrone Loeb from the top of the WRC pile, the Citroen ace admitted that the season ahead wouldn't be easy, but said he was fully focused on extending his amazing run of success.
“It is never easy,” he said. “Every year is a new season and anything can happen so you have to be focused and on the limit all the time.
“For sure, I cannot have a target other than to win the championship again. I have won it six times before so I expect to win it again. I take pleasure in what I do and I like fighting in the stages, so that is my motivation.”
