Ogier keen to challenge front-runners

Sebastien Ogier targets a strong finish on Rally Turkey
Sebastien Ogier says he is keen to try and challenge the front-runners again when the WRC heads to Turkey this weekend.

The Citroen Junior Team driver impressed with his pace last time out in Jordan but ultimately ended up sixth after becoming embroiled in the middle of the team tactics that affected the final day of the event.

Ogier sits fifth in the championship standings as a result of that final day tactical call but heads to Turkey this weekend hoping to once again challenge some of the more established stars at the wheel of his C4 WRC.

“As was the case in Jordan, it's going to be important not to make any mistakes,” he said. “This is a brand new rally for all the crews, so for the first time this year we start on a level playing field against the other WRC drivers. The recce will be extremely important.

“We're going to try and fight with the leaders on this event just as we did in Sweden, Mexico and Jordan. The whole team
has done a great job since the start of the season, which our good results have proved.”

@runnah Doubt it, Spain is a big market for them so he'll be there for a while yet. Your right tho, Ogier looks a better bet going forwards.
