2010 Dakar now on DVD

The compelling tale of the 2010 Dakar Rally is now available on official DVD from Duke Video.
The second edition of the Dakar Rally to be run in South America delivered one of the most thrilling and fascinating rally raids seen for many years - and it was all captured on film.

Over 16 days in January, the cars, bikes, trucks and quads crossed more than 9000km of the most demanding terrain, and in the most treacherous conditions, that Chile and Argentina had to offer, and fans can now relive every essential highlight from an unforgettable event with the release of the official DVD from Duke.

More than 380 competitors embarked on motorsport's greatest adventure but, once again, the demanding route decimated the field, leaving only the fittest and the best to survive and battle it out for victory, against the spectacular landscape of two amazing countries, treacherous conditions and dangerous sand dunes put the racers to the
ultimate test.

The official DVD features exceptional action footage, including sequences captured by helicopter cameras and from on-board the vehicles, to bring viewers the most important highlights from the 2010 Dakar Rally, as Carlos Sainz, Nasser Al Attiyah, Robby Gordon, Mark Miller, Stephane Peterhansel, Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, amongst others, battled for four- and two-wheel honours on one of the most controversial, bitter and competitive events ever. Interviews, informed commentary and on-screen graphics ensure fans share the full story of what proved to be not only a great adventure, but a truly great race for victory.

The DVD includes, as bonus features, extended coverage of stages one (Buenos Aires to Cordoba), ten (La Serena to Santiago) and 14 (San Rafael to Buenos Aires), and is out now, priced at £19.99, available from leading video outlets or direct from Duke Video.
