Citroen Junior Team's Sebastien Ogier continues to lead Rally de Portugal with just the short 2.03 kilometre super special remaining.

Ogier saw his overnight lead more than halved this morning in SS14 and SS15, however on the repeat-run through Felizes and Loule, he was a lot closer to Sebastien Loeb.

Indeed while Loeb was again quickest in both tests, Ogier only lost 0.6 seconds to his fellow countryman in SS16 - despite a small problem at the start when he went wide - and he was only 1.8 seconds slower in SS17. Ogier will now head into the final test with a 7.7 second advantage and his debut WRC win looks agonisingly close.

Dani Sordo meanwhile remains third, more than a minute off the fight for the victory. He managed to increase the gap to Petter Solberg in SS16 and SS17 and now lies 4.6 seconds up on the Norweigan, with BP Ford Abu Dhabi's Mikko Hirvonen 8.4 seconds further back in fifth.

Stobart Ford's Matt Wilson rounds out the top six, followed by Mads Ostberg, Federico Villagra, Khalid Al-Qassimi and Kimi Raikkonen in positions 7 through to 10. Raikkonen had been eighth, but slipped down to 10th in SS16.

The final test, the second run through the event opening 2.03 km SSS Estadio Algarve, now begins at 13.55 hours local time.
