A unique event at Silverstone - the celebrated 'Home of British Motor Racing' - has helped to kick-start the launch of the exciting new official WRC FIA World Rally Championship video game, developed by Milestone Studios.

WRC FIA World Rally Championship is being supported by Kick Energy - one of Britain's most popular and fastest-growing energy drink brands - during the game's UK campaign. With major links to the British and world championships - including the sponsorship of rising Irish star Craig Breen - the Kick Energy rally team has been touring the UK to showcase the game, with a stop-off at TRAX at Silverstone earlier this month.

TRAX is the country's biggest event for all performance and modified cars, and visitors were given the opportunity to play previews of the game before anyone else in the UK, as well as being treated to exhilarating, edge-of-the-seat rides around the circuit with Breen who, aged just 20, won the Fiesta Sport Trophy International Shoot-out in 2009 and is now working closely with the team at M-Sport, which operates Ford's WRC programme.

And if that wasn't enough, visitors also had the chance to win a Subaru WRX STI kitted out with its own PlayStation 3 - worth a total of ?10,000 - as well as driving experiences, consoles and copies of the rally simulation game to celebrate its launch before it goes on public sale on 8 October for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

WRC FIA World Rally Championship is the creation of leading Italian video game publisher Black Bean Games, in partnership with Milestone Studios and Kick Energy producer Global Brands.
