Citroen Junior Team boss Benoit Nogier says that the team is setting no deadline for Kimi Raikkonen to make a decision about his future.

Raikkonen made the switch to the World Rally Championship after being released from his F1 contract with Ferrari ahead of schedule, with the Finn then inking a one-year deal to switch to the rally stages.

The former F1 champion continues to be linked with a return to single-seaters having made an approach to Renault, which has left question marks over whether his rallying exploits will continue into a second season, with Nogier admitting that Citroen was waiting for a decision about his future.

"At the moment there is no commitment from Kimi for next year," he told French radio station RMC. "Up to now he has showed appreciation for what he is doing and the desire to continue.

"He is the master of his destiny so it's up to him to tell us if he wants to be with us next year or not. I will be very happy to welcome him if he wants to continue."
