3 - Sebastien Ogier

One of the star drivers of the season, Sebastien Ogier has been a revelation this year and is now widely tipped as a future champion.

It is difficult to believe this was only his third year in the WRC - and only his second year in a World Rally Car, although he made an immediate impression on the J-WRC in 2008, winning the crown at his first attempt.

Now two years on, he is challenging the sports best and pushing them all the way, with two victories, one in Portugal and one in Japan, already to his name.

His season was pretty amazing and in addition to his wins, he also took podiums in Mexico, New Zealand, Finland and Germany.

His only big mistake came on the season finale, Wales Rally GB, where he crashed out in Radnor 1 at the start of the second leg. It was a costly error and as a result he dropped from second in the standings to fourth, but it was still a very impressive season and he will join Loeb full-time at the Citroen Total World Rally Team in 2011.

"I'm hopping mad with myself to end up like this as the team stacked all the odds in my favour," Ogier said after his exit in Wales earlier this month.

"It's very disappointing to finish our season like this, all the more so as we now lose second place in the world championship.

"What I'll remember though is how much progress we've made in our second year at this level. I'm now looking to the future and going testing with the DS3 WRC," he concluded.
