driving Ken Block's Monster WRT Ford Focus WRC, 1984 World Rally Champion Stig Blomqvist re-united with a host a priceless collection of ex-works Audi quattros and one of Britain's best current rally drivers, Guy Wilks, who was demonstrating the latest Skoda Fabia S2000 in superb style - organisers Brian Stubbings and Darin Frow have been busy planning and preparing for 2011's motorsport spectacular.
“Rallyday has been a terrific success over the past ten years and we are very proud at what we have achieved during that time,” Stubbings said. “We have had some great people come along and for 2010 had lots of different teams' and some fantastic displays, both out on the track and in the paddock. We certainly won't be resting on our laurels.
“We want to continue to develop the event's winning formula through 2011 and beyond, so we can carry on entertaining rally enthusiasts of all ages.
“We have some big plans for this year and are very excited about what we are aiming to do.”
Frow is also determined to make Rallyday 2011 another resounding success and build on everything that has been accomplished in the previous years.
“We really pulled out all the stops for our tenth Anniversary show and it was rewarding to see so many people enjoy the day,” he continued. “It was hard work but everything ran smoothly and we were delighted with the incredible line up of cars and stars that came along to help us mark our tenth anniversary, and all the great feedback we received from everyone.
“Each year the Rallyday goes from strength-to-strength and we are pleased now to be able to officially announce the date for 2011.”
