IRC: Skoda for Gardemeister

Toni Gardemeister to use Skoda for IRC campaign, with car running on Hankook tyres
Toni Gardemeister has confirmed that he will use a Skoda Fabia for his Intercontinental Rally Challenge campaign and has also revealed that the car will run on Hankook tyres.

Gardemeister will take part in eight events, starting with Rally Canarias next month, with the Skoda being prepared and run by his own TGS Worldwide outfit.

“I'm really looking forward to working with Hankook again,” he said. “The Skoda is a proven car in the IRC and the Hankook tyres have performed brilliantly on these events in the last couple of years so I'm delighted with the package which we have put together.''

“Having driven for Skoda in the past I know the car will be good and I look forward to testing the package before we really get started in Canarias.”
