Louise Cook and Stefan Davis will compete in the FIA World Rally Championship next season with Rally Team GB, it was confirmed this month, and to celebrate the squad is offering one lucky member of the public a free chance to take in the 2012 Wales Rally GB as the squad's 'third' driver.

Through the outfit's official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/RallyTeamGB, all fans need to do is click 'Like' and become a Rally Team GB fan and they will be entered into the free prize draw.

Rally Team GB will then make one lucky fan a fully-fledged MSA licensed rally driver, taking in the Wales Rally GB National B event on September 16 2012, which runs as part of the WRC round.

Ten fans will be chosen randomly each month until July 31 2012 - and the sooner they join the more chances they will have of winning. The ten monthly winners will then be drawn from the pool of Rally Team GB Facebook fans throughout the next twelve months and there will be a minimum of 130 semi-finalists, who will then battle it out make the final top-ten shoot-out, where they will be tested to see if they have what it takes to be the Rally Team GB third driver.

The winner will then be lent everything they need to compete including all the gear, service crew and of course a Rally Team GB car.

Anyone can enter, providing they have a valid driving license by the final prize draw on July 31 2012 and providing they have never held a competition license in any country.

The free draw is open to all nations. However all those selected from the draw must be able to cover travel and accommodation expenses to the semi-final, final, and if chosen, the rally itself.

"We want to give someone an easy start, something neither of us had," said Davis. "More importantly, we want to get more people involved with rallying and help some of you start your own careers."

"It is a difficult sport to get started in," added Cook. "There are a lot of obstacles, and people find it difficult to overcome them all.

"I thought it would be great to give our fans a foot up, and a hassle free chance to get their own rally career started, and more importantly advise fans on how to make things happen themselves."
