Kruuda reveals IRC plans

Karl Kruuda plots a return to the IRC for the 2012 season
Karl Kruuda has revealed plans to compete in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge again in 2012.

The Estonian teen competed in seven events on the IRC schedule this season, taking a best finish of fourth in Cyprus and tenth in the championship standings.

Kruuda will now hope to build on those results next year in a programme set to include the GEKO Ypres Rally and Rally Cyprus.

“I like the IRC, the events and the atmosphere and the competition is very strong,” he said. “I have been able to improve my driving by doing the IRC this year and for the plan is to do some more next year.

“I'm not sure what I will do but I would like very much Ypres and Cyprus.”
