Kris Meeke ended his partial season with MINI very strongly, with a fifth place finish in Spain and a fourth in Wales, where he almost snatched the final podium place. Fourth is his best-ever WRC result and his performances during 2011 earned him seventh spot in your World Rally Driver of the Year poll.

Meeke also had the joy of giving MINI its first Power Stage win in Spain, just what he needed after trying events in Sardinia, Finland and Germany, where mechanical issues sidelined him and in France, where he crashed out on day two, when running in fifth place.

Overall, he polled an average mark of 6.89 out of ten, placing him just ahead of M-Sport Stobart Ford ace Mads Ostberg.
