FIRST PIC: Mads Ostberg 2012 livery

A look at the livery Mads Ostberg will use in WRC 2012
Mads Ostberg has revealed a teaser image of the Ford Fiesta RS WRC he will campaign during the 2012 World Rally Championship season.

Ostberg will make his first appearance of the season on Rally Sweden, where he will be joined in a two-car Adapta entry by Eyvind Brynildsen.

Ostberg posted an image of his new look Fiesta through his Twitter account, with the car due to run on Rally Finnskog as a warm-up for the start of his WRC campaign.

The Norwegian was one of the stars of Rally Sweden last season where he took second place – a result he then matched in the final round of the year in Wales.

This picture was up on Planet Marcus two days ago...keep up Crash! It is a great looking car though. I wonder if he'll run under the Adapta banner all season? I still don't understand how Red Bull or some big company like that haven't decided to sponsor him. Wilson and Henning get a full season, yet great drives like Meeke and Ostberg have to make do with part campaigns (and Kris will be lucky if he gets a go on any rallies this year).

I realise this is a late response but for the record the give away in the picture is the tailgate spoiler (not WRC),making this a RRC. However all regional rally cars are supplied in WRC specification with a conversion kit to change the set up to it's RRC variant. The kit includes.... 30mm turbo restrictor, RRC front bumper assembly, RRC tailgate & spoiler, RRC intercooler intake duct, RRC flywheel & bolts and spigot bearing. Effectively two cars in one, RRC able to compete in national championship events and full WRC spec to go play with the big boys! .
