Henning Solberg will not compete in Mexico this weekend due to a 'contractual issue' with a sponsor.
Henning, who finished seventh in Sweden in his Go Fast Energy WRT Ford Fiesta RS WRC car, is now expected to resume his WRC campaign in Portugal later this month.
“We have a contractual issue with the sponsor at the moment that we are working hard to resolve. There's not much more to say than that,” M-Sport boss Malcolm Wilson told the official WRC site. “We'll see what happens, but we do have the option to run Ott Tanak and Ricardo Trivino's cars in Go Fast colours here.”
Britain's Matthew Wilson
also competes under the Go Fast Energy WRT banner, but is sidelined after breaking his ankle prior to Sweden. It is not yet known when he will return.
