Francois Delecour celebrated his first podium in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge last weekend by revealing his desire to contest more rounds of the series in the future.
The French legend finished third overall on the Sibiu Rally in Romania in a Peugeot 207 Super 2000 run by the Italian Munaretto Sport operation.
Speaking afterwards, the 49-year-old said: “It was nice to be back on the podium since a long time and now I hope to continue and maybe do some more IRC rallies because I was happy with my performance here. Rallying is my life.
“I'd love to make the IRC again. But I have no programme apart from the Romanian championship.
“We will see.”
