Robert Kubica will continue his recovery from injury with two outings at the wheel of a Citroen C4 WRC later this month.
The Pole, who competed in two domestic events in Italy in a Subaru Impreza earlier this year, will take part in Rally di Como and Rallye du Var driving the car that won no fewer than four WRC titles in the hands of Sebastien Loeb.
Kubica, who suffered horrific injuries in an accident while taking part in the Ronde di Andora rally back in February, has been using his latest rally outings in an effort to improve his fitness and he said he was excited at the prospect of competing in the C4.
“I can't wait to drive a car that is as quick and has been as successful as the C4 WRC,” he said. “Rallying is one of my favourite forms of motorsport. After completing a test session so that I can get used to the car, competing in the Rally di Como will above all be an opportunity to get to a feel for the car and learn more about driving it in racing conditions.
“The objective will be different for the Rallye du Var. This will be the third time I have taken part, so it's a rally with which I am already familiar and where I feel comfortable.”
