Andreas Mikkelsen successfully defended his Intercontinental Rally Challenge crown in 2012, finishing the season with 67 points more than his closest rival.
In total the Skoda UK man took seven podiums - including two wins.
He also got the chance to run with Volkswagen in the WRC, alongside Sebastien Ogier, doing eight events and taking two seventh places in Germany and Sardinia.
Such was his form that he will get the chance to step up with Volkswagen next year, competing in a third Polo R WRC on all the events from Portugal onwards.
His performances obviously impressed you too, and despite retirements in Argentina, Greece and Belgium, as well as events to forget in Finland and Spain, you gave him an average mark of 6.620 out of ten, placing him ahead of the likes of Mikko Hirvonen, Jari-Matti Latvala and Petter Solberg.
So do you think that is right? Share your opinions simply by clicking on the 'Post your comments' link below.
