Mads Ostberg enjoyed a great season in his semi-privateer Ford Fiesta RS WRC car in 2012 and he finished in the top-five in every single WRC event he took in - including winning in Portugal.
He also took two third places in Sweden and Argentina and while he may have just been beaten to third in the WRC Drivers' Championship by Jari-Matti Latvala - who finished the year 5 points ahead after the final event in Spain - given he missed the events in Monte Carlo and New Zealand due to budgetary constraints, it was still a very, very good effort.
His performances didn't go unnoticed either, and M-Sport boss Malcolm Wilson has put his faith firmly behind the Norwegian after selecting him to lead the Qatar M-Sport WRT (the ex-Ford works team) in 2013.
It is no surprise then that you also felt he had done well, and when all the votes were tallied Ostberg had an average score of 7.608 out of ten.
