Volkswagen's Sebastien Ogier has chosen to run 11th in the order on the opening day of the Acropolis Rally.

Ogier got first pick after topping the times in qualifying [see separate story - HERE] and as usual, he has opted to start as far back as he can as those ahead will then sweep the road and clean the line.

The decision should give him an advantage, providing there is not too much dust in tonight's second test...

Meanwhile, the rest of the WRC runners followed Ogier's lead, except for Andreas Mikkelsen, who selected to go third and aid team-mate, Jari-Matti Latvala. Latvala was only ninth fastest through the qualifying stage and will start one spot back as a result in fourth.

Khalid Al-Qassimi and Martin Prokop will run first and second and will thus be the two main road sweepers.

The action now gets underway 'proper' with SS1 - Kineta-Pissia (47.70 km) - at 18.28 hours local time [16.28 hours UK time].
